Madison's source for pastured chicken
Raising chickens the right way: humane treatment, good feed, fresh forage, plenty of fresh air and sunlight. Our Kosher King variety of chicken is healthier and more robust than most American meat birds, which can be over-bred and sickly. Raising the birds on grass for the majority of their lives -- "pasturing" -- is an uncommon but growing practice in American agriculture. Bugs and grass, sun and sky, our birds live happy lives.
Does being pastured change the meat quality? Absolutely. It's a difference you have to taste to believe.
Our birds are antibiotic and hormone free, fed a diet of certified organic feed, bugs, and grass.
